Happy New Year!

My New Year's Resolution is to stay cleaner.

I'll start tomorrow.

Mmmm... snow cones.

Believe it or not, while my first sighting of Grey today was one of a dampish, foggy, filthy swamp monster, by the time I got his tail washed, he had dried, and most of the damage just buffed right out. His saddle pad didn't even need a wash.

I hope the January thaw is over with. Happy New Year!

He'd fit right in down here with all the grey horses right now ! We had two inches of driving rain last night, turning our semi-dry pastures back into super-saturated and very muddy sponges.

And from a previous conversation, Tim is a better man than I. I'd stomp on my grandmothers toe if she got between me and a homemade turtle. :)

Hehe. :) Louie really takes pride in his mud rolling skills too. After he gets up, he looks around like, "did you see that? Wasn't I awesome?" LOL I can't even imagine having a non-mud/poop colored horse. . . a lot of work to clean.

I bet Grey's "staying clean" resolution is much like some of the diet resolutions- it'll last a few weeks at best. I think he needs some carrot juice on his snow cone.
